Fairness
In this editorial about what monkeys can teach humans about making America fairer can be said that there are no such things as “natural laws” or the higher principles of fairness that trump the rules enacted by man, and that humans would like to be treated with more respect and have more dignity. ... People like to be treated with fairness and justice, since those are the two main points that contribute to respecting one’s dignity towards one another. Since the word “justice” and “fairness” varies from person to person, because there is no such thing as the natural law, the only way to define these words is by setting up a nation’s law, or the most “just” laws of all.
