My Experience With Racism
Racism is a problem the world has had to face since the beginning of time. ... Racism has had a huge affect on the world, ever since there was one. Now in particular there has been much racism towards Arabs in the United States and against Americans in the Middle East. ... Often times we will meet those who have in some way had or known of someone who had a bad experience with a person of a certain ethnic background, therefore all people with the same background will be labeled as bad and have people be prejudice against them. ... What resulted from the event of that horrific day was racism against Arabs and Muslims around the world, there is also an increase in racism towards Americans in the Middle East. ... I have experienced racism first hand; ever since I was a small child I have had people be racist against me. ... When I think about the people I have met that have a preconceived idea about me and my family I truly believe that their racism has taken away the opportunity to meet people who may or may not be perspective friends and allies .
