Pink Floyd's "The Wall" Pink Floyd's "The Wall" is one of the most controversial movies of all time. Its horrifying and graphic scenes may have something to do with this. But because of this, it is also one of the greatest films in music and cinema history. It without a doubt ranks amongst the most original video efforts of the 1980's. It was released in 1982, five years after the release of Pink Floyd's album "The Wall".
