Tangilble Existence of God
When Samuel Taylor Coleridge composed “The Aeolian Harp” during his honeymoon, it appears that he was in a state of harmony with nature and God. ... Within this romantic poem, Coleridge mixes the sights, sounds, and smells of nature along with an inanimate object (the Aeolian harp) into a metaphor in which God is a part of everything and everyone. Through this translation, it is the melody of the harp that reassures Coleridge that God is present and watching over him.
