A person’s life is very much defined by the relationships it holds, relationships that have contributed to the personality of that individual. Relationships are the building blocks of society, and few individuals can truly flourish as emotional beings without them. As one grows over time, so do the relationships in a person’s life, adding experience and knowledge to their existence. Consequently, relationships are essential elements in the growth and development of an individual, bringing substance to one’s existence and meaning to one’s individual understanding of life. Relationships begin many different ways and due to many different reasons. Relationships can arise from predictable situations, such as friends from school, or from random events, such as a social gathering or a bus ride. ...
