Rationalism vs. Empiricism
Rationalism versus empiricism is a debate that has been going on for hundreds of years with philosophers. Empericism, which is “the view that knowledge has its origins in the derives all of its contents from experience” , Descartes is one of the most well known philosophers who put his knowledge into this. One of the dominant philosophers of rationalism was Locke, rationalism is “the theory of knowledge that holds that the ultimate source of knowledge is reason” .
