In the beginning of the story I felt sorry for Ur. He seemed very stupid, and although he was described as a great hunter he let himself get stung in the face by bees. I felt sorry for Ur when the children teased him about the honey. Collecting honey seemed to me like a job for the children of stupid people of a society. Ur also seemed slow to me on page 81 when he talked to the bees, telling them not only to make honey, but to also do it in the same tree. I don’t believe that the author wanted me to feel sorry for Ur.
