Musics effects

Have you ever wondered why young adults listen to the same type of music? It seems to me that the music people listen to depends mostly on their age. I’m not saying that all young adults growing up in the millennium all have the same taste in music, but the general population of young adults know which artists are popular and which are not. Megan O’neil, author of Popular Culture states, “Even if you’ve never seen the show, and even if when you saw it you didn’t like it, you certainly know about Trek and may well be able to name the major characters, let alone the starship Enterprise.” Her example of a television show is exactly like my example of music. I know that right now pop music is the big craze. For example, one of my favorite artists is Justin Timberlake.
