the thin blue line

The Thin Blue Line Essay Imagine being Randall Adams in the movie The Thin Blue Line. He was convicted of a crime and put on death row for something he didn't do. According to the evidence given to the viewers it seems as though he was wrongfully accused of murdering a police officer. Through out the movie I saw many things that just didn't seem right. The car that was driven by the shooter was stolen by David Harris, the gun that was used to kill the officer was also stolen by David Harris, and David Harris had a criminal background. When the police found out that the car had indeed been stolen, they didn't even think to convict a poor, innocent, young, boy. They thought it would probably ruin his life. But they sure were quick to put Randall Adams in the drivers seat even though it wasn't his car. Randall Adams told the police that he wasn't even in the car. He told them he was at home watching the television. Everything he had to say about the shows he watched that night, matched with the tv guide listings. Even the female police officer that was on duty with the murder victim stated that the guy driving didn't have bushy hair, untill she talked to the police and her statement completely changed.
