The school thought replacing the junk food vending machines with healthier food machines would bring in just as much money as the junk food machines, as you can see, they were wrong. By banning junk food and soda vending machines, you are taking away precious money from the schools. Junk food vending machines are bringing in revenue for extra-curricular and academic programs that the schools are desperately in need of, especially in a time when the state’s budget is in so much trouble.
