Critical Learning Incident Breast Examination
The breast examination tutorial conducted gave many students including my self a chance to conduct an ‘intimate’ patient examination for the first time. There were key learning obectives that for this exercise. Gaining clinical skill into performing a thorough breast examination was the primary objective. ... Each student was expected to develop a professional attitude when conducting an examination, gain an understanding of the sensitive aspects of the examination, and gain and understanding to the needs of the patients.
