We discussed the moral implications, and catholic viewpoints of, weapons of mass destruction. Within our group of 5 participants, we discussed how weapons of mass destruction are wrong and not just. I began the discussion, by stating the question “ Are Weapons of mass destruction just in our eyes and the eyes of the Catholic Church?” Using this, and the debate, which followed, I constructed my train of thought for the rest of the debate, seen as before hand I had no strong views. This allowed me to make valid arguments within the debate, whilst learning about a topic I had little prior knowledge of. Eventually we came to the conclusion that it wasn’t just, and that the catholic teaching on the subject was fair. At GCSE level I achieved good grades, including an A in Geography and Maths. I also studied an additional GCSE, Statistics, in which I achieved a B grade.
