Jesus title the Son of God
In the Gospels the title “the Son of God” is used to refer to Jesus by the disciples, and also evil spirits. Marks Gospel begins with “this is the Good News about Jesus Christ, the Son of God”(Mark 1:1) this shows that Mark is in no dough about the identification of Jesus, he is very blunt in saying, Jesus is the Son of God, and God is his Father. Different groups of people take different views of what the gospels mean, Fundamentalists would take this to mean that Jesus was actually the son of God, and that their was some miraculous conception. The liberalists would believe this was just symbolic and that Jesus was just a holy man, with maybe special powers, like healing, and that he was actually made in the ‘normal way!
