The notion of the Phantom Captain is primarily driven by a cosmic approach of thinking, for it is a belief, and an intangible concept. Since the Phantom Captain is defined as one’s driving force and primarily an individual’s think tank, whatever one’s Phantom Captain wishes to make reality for a person becomes reality for that individual, thus defining one’s reality. ... In a way, the phantom captain could very well be the Almighty, or rather the connection each human being has with the Almighty. ...
