Alternate Ending – Alias Grace The days go by slower and slower as the months pass by. My days in the penitentiary are all the same; day after day, just sitting in my cell hoping for someone to bring me some good news. They’ve being trying to get me out for so long that I’m beginning to lose hope. It seems almost like a lost cause. Reverend Verringer his put a lot of effort into the committee for my pardon but it seems like he’s working for nothing.
