The researchers present their research findings, and also compare and contrast their own results with those of previous experiments into the same phenomenon. Nelms and Soper designed an experiment to test for the statistical significance of occupation in the development of a faster and more efficient cold-induced vasodilation reaction and heat transfer enhancement in the cold hand.
