The Pizza Shuttle was dreamed up by partners Mark and Lou while they worked at Dominoes in Detroit, Michigan some time around 1974. The partners looked at buying a franchise but were turned off at the restrictions put on by the corporation. Some research and some dumb luck later they ended up on the east side of Milwaukee. Lou had saved $20,000 while living in Detroit, Mark on the other hand hadn’t saved a dime. Lou’s father came through and loaned them $10,000 and Mark’s grand parents loaned them another $20,000. Initially they bought all used ovens, tables, and coolers.
