I started reading The 7 habits of highly effective Teens with a mix of skepticism, and doubt. ... The 7 habits suggest being proactive (Taking responsibility for your life), defining your ambitions and goals (Begin with the end in mind), set your priorities, starting with your highest priority first (Put first things first), set your mind to a “everyone can win” attitude (Think Win-Win), listen to people with undivided attention, and with sincerity (Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood), Work with others to achieve more success (Synergize), and renew yourself often (Sharpen the Saw. ... I admit I haven’t done this, so this part of the book, wasn’t very effective for me. ... Only 7% is actual words. ...
The final habit, habit 7, “Sharper the Saw” stresses health, and body. ... I’m not going to go out and use the food pyramid as my mealtime bible, but I’m more aware, and I have changed my eating habits a little, which has been a small change in my life, but I change, no less.
