Logic edit

Music Edit Daniel Elliott The track that I decided to edit was 'Smack my bitch up' by the Prodigy. I chose this because it has a few distinct parts to it which can easily be separated. It also, being a song made on a sequencer, has a steady tempo. This makes looping parts a lot easier. I chose to use Emagic's Logic Audio Platinum as the program to edit the track. It has a versatile sample editor built in, and useful automation ability. After converting the song into a wave (.wav) file and importing it into Logic, I set about searching for sections of the song that I could use as loops. I did this by opening the original audio track in Logic's audio editor and selecting parts of the song, then saving these selections as new audio files.
