Avi who was born in New York in 1937, was raised in Brooklyn. The name Avi was given to him by is twin sister, when they were both about one. He always went by Avi and never used his real name. Throughout his life, Avi was always a little shy. Avi was not into sports. ... When Avi was young he was diagnosed with a learning disability, which made spelling, reading, and writing hard. ...
