4th of July Activities People get excited about Fourth of July activities. First of all they get time of from work to spend time with their families. They take their families shopping for new outfits. Sometimes, they shop for things that may resemble the colors of the American flag. They buy beer and liquor and whatever else that make the holiday fun. They also do lots of barbequing; you can smell the smoke and food in the air. They gather at houses, parks and sometimes there are Homecoming events that some towns and community have.
