Management Behavior Memo
January 11, 2010 MEMO TO: Supervisory Team FROM: Shavon Greene RE: Management Behavior As you may be aware many changes are taking place due to our recent merger with EnviroTech. With these changes it is important that all employees stay focused on the goals of the company. “As we align our organizational structure around this vision, we will be reviewing our current staffing -- particularly in sales and marketing -- to determine if we have the skills in place that will enable us an effective transition” (University of Phoenix, n. d. ). It is important that all departmental teams are managed in a way that is suitable for the direction the company is headed. This memo will address how your behavior can affect your worker’s productivity, describe the types of management action that align with employment laws and those that do not, and describe the best practices for working within a diverse work environment. First, I want to address the importance of management developing a positive behavior. As front-line managers for InterClean, you have the most interaction with our employees. A manager’s behavior can have a significant impact on his or her worker’s productivity.
