To be or not to be

When I decided I would like to take this job, I wanted to increase my knowledge and create an expanding career for myself, something I was looking forward to, something I now believe could not have happened.
When I first started I thought I would be trained fully on how to sell the median and have guidance from senior staff until I was comfortable and confident to do so, unfortunately this did not occur.
When I was told about getting the supervisors job, I thought that I would be trained or at least told about what my job entailed, this did not occur at first, not until 10 weeks into the job and even then I was told to come to Sydney and ended up getting 11 point forms written down on paper. To me this did not help at all.
Right from the beginning I thought that my role in the company was not organised or properly set out, because of this I felt I gained little respect from the reps I was given the job to motivate and guide. This was not helped by one of the Sales Managers calling me ‘a joke’ because 2 weeks into the job I wasn’t making as many sales as what the reps underneath me were.
