STRAIGHT VS GAY
When I came “out of the closet” to some of my friends the first thing they said was, “no you can’t be gay, you are normal. ... Being gay is not about being different or abnormal. Gay people are just as normal as straight people. The difference is with regard to the hardships that gay people are forced to consider that straight people do not have to consider. Coming out is just one of the examples how gay people are different than straight people. ... Straight people do not have to go through the pain that gay people go through. ... It is only gay people who have to go through the pain. ... It was a great victory for gay people, but they are the only group that had to have a Supreme Court ruling to allow sex between two adults. ... Straight people, in general, do not need special permission to get married.
The majority of straight people do not have to worry about having children. ... Even these days when the world seems to be more accepting of gay people, it is a lot harder than just spending a night together to have children.
