My most memorable sense of comfort, was one Christmas Eve, when I was about ten. We had just moved house and were celebrating our first Christmas there. My mum had bought me a black kitten, which I called "Yum Yum" and I can remember him sitting, purring on my lap. My mum, dad, the cat and me were all in the lounge, and the weather outside was so cold, that you could see the frost settling on the corners of the windows, so my mum lit our log fire.
