The representations presented in the film Bamboozled are so blatantly satirical in nature that it would be difficult not to understand the important social messages that are found throughout the picture. Bamboozled is not a film where much examination is needed towards the technical aspect of the picture, but the academic side needs more than enough more investigation to make up for the simple technical methods used by director Spike Lee. Bamboozled was shot mostly in digital video, and many shots where done without a steadicam or crane. ... Bamboozled is narrated through a voiceover of the character Pierre Delacroix, who often points out the meaning of the satirical nature of the events of the movie for those viewers who might not be able to interpret the intended meaning of the visual cues on their own. ... ” If that is the case, Spike Lee gives the audience enough satire in the film Bamboozled to have us side by side for quite a long time. ...
The main satirical foundation of Bamboozled comes in the form of the new age minstrel show that Delacroix develops for the television network that he works for. ...
