At the airport where victor and Elsa were ready to leave Casablanca, Rick had a tough time dealing with losing Elsa. Elsa did not want to leave Rick again but Rick had left her no alternative. Victor and Elsa left Casablanca to live in America, the land of opportunity. Rick had to flee Casablanca a few months after Elsa’s departure after a warrant was given out to catch him for killing the sheriff. Victor and Elsa had one child named Sam a few years after settling down in America. When Sam was ten years of age his father, victor, was shot and killed in an alley on his way home to his wife and kids. Elsa had to take care of her only child on her own and worked two jobs in order to support the family.
