Feminist view on life on changes in society?

In the first interview, the interviewer perceived the shop to be doing marginally well. In the second interview, the shop seems to be doing pretty well as the shop owners are clad in branded clothes and jewellery. Both interviews have similarities as both shops quote recession and competition as factors affecting their business, though they are of varying extents to each shop. The first shop says that external competition is stronger while the second shop says both internal and external competition are strong.
