1. After Lenin died in 1924, a little after that Joseph Stalin became the country’s most powerful and most feared leader. His main goal was to modernize and industrialize Russia, also so he could gain world power. Another goal of his was to have Russia as a communism country. 2. Stalin produced qualities of leadership through “Totalitarianism” meaning he tries to control all aspects of people’s lives .I personally do not think to achieve his goals this was the proper way to go about it. For people like having freedom of choice, but under this rule Stalin produced for the Soviet Union did not let the people choose much. My evidence to support how I feel about what Stalin did was he took away the peoples music and all forms of art (dance, theater etc).He also had the rule of “Collectivization” meant small farms were collected into a single unit for joint operation under government supervision .Many people disagreed with this, and thought this was wrong and they wanted to own there own land and didn’t think it was right that he told them if or if not they could have music or could dance.
