But that’s not the only thing that the human resources deal with; they also deal with matters like: • The recruitment and dismissal of staff • The training, development and promotion of staff • Health and Safety • Making sure everyone has good working conditions • Liaison with employees organisations and trade unions The human resources almost run the business in their own way, and if not the human resources department there may be arguments and conflicts in the company between the employees, and no one would be there the arguments don’t happen. This could have major affects on the way the business runs.
