Motivation #1. In order to run a successful business it is essential that you have employees that are motivated to work. Being a manager of a business, employees with good self motivation do not just fall into your lap. The manager and the company itself must many times create this motivation. There are many different ways to motivate employees. The text book covers many of these but let’s compare the book to an actual running and successful business. Taking a look at a successful marketing communications agency, Colle and McVoy Inc., we can see that they practice many employee motivation tactics similar to those stated in the text book.
