The role of a political leader is to look after his people and make sure they have opportunities to support themselves financially. For that reason a political leader has very good reason to support the desire of every American to have a college education. The value of a college education is evident in the starting salaries of a college graduate as opposed to merely a high school graduate’s. The college graduate is generally more prepared and is intellectually superior.
