The ethics of music
The ethical issues in the production of songs with explicit lyrics are that most of the lyrics being said in these songs are indecent and immoral. Many of the lyrics are very inappropriate for children and can corrupt their minds. Also, young minds are very impressionable, therefore the explicit lyrics from the music causes a child to try and do what the lyrics are implying. Voluntary regulation will not work for the recording industry, due to the fact that it seems as if the recording industry had a problem with warning labels being placed on the records.
