A Beautiful Thing
There she sits and plays with her toys, so pure and innocent, I wonder how did I ever live my life without her. She is a gorgeous little girl and she is my daughter, what a thought! Her long blonde shiny hair and eyes that are as blue as the sky, who would ever thought she would have turned out this beautiful. When I first found out I was going to have a child, I was scared. The moment she came into my life all that scariness turned into nervousness. She was so small, so delicate and fragile. It was like holding a box of expensive china. Never in my life had I had so much love for one thing. She became my life. Holding her, feeding her, rocking her, dressing her – I loved doing it all.
