Franklin, Autobiography (Part One, 805-20) 1) Franklin is doing what most fathers do; try to teach their children about life. Franklin feels it is very important for a person to know the roots of his family. He talks a lot about his familyˇ¦s history. He talks about his grandfather, his uncles and educates his son with a lot of their family history. He wants his son to know where he comes from. Franklin is very proud of his life so far and would live it again the same way if he had to. He is not concerned about a few things he would like to change if he could.
