The poetry of the First World War has engaged the minds of both critics and scholars as well.At its start, the war was popular, as people thought that it will end fasly after some days or at least few months.Accordingly, poets began to glorify and even bless the war such as Rupert Brooke. When the stupidity of the war appeared with all its horror and futility, poets began to protest and pity the war as Seigfried Sassoon and Wilfred Owen.
