The title of this book is Lord of the Flies written by William Golding in 1954. This story is about a group of boys, who got isolated in on island as the result of an airplane crash. There are a couple of main characters in this book. There is a boy named Ralph who has fair hair and the ability to lead a group. Piggy is a fat boy with glasses. He is wise and knows many things but he gets ignored by other boys. As this book progresses, we notice that Ralph’s behavior toward Piggy constantly changes, and at the end of this book, a change in his attitude is definitely noticeable. Ralph sees the value of Piggy as a member of their society because he helped them stay organized and civilized. At the end, Ralph weeps over Piggy’s death, not just because a person that he knows has died, but because one of his valuable friends, Piggy is not there anymore. The first meeting between Ralph and Piggy, Piggy introduces every little details about himself to Ralph while Ralph on the other hand, does not really care about Piggy and just ignores him.
