Then suddenly we different clips of parts in the film, including an extreme long shot of an army and different characters in the film. ... “Next Christmas the most extraordinary tale ever told will come to life” The effect of this is that the audience gets more interested in the film and they are told it is the greatest tale ever told, it would make them want to see it. ... Out of the two teaser trailers, this is the only one that has speaking in it. ...

For the first time in the trailer the name of the film is confirmed when the logo of ‘The Lord of The Rings’ is displayed.
