In the epic poem “Paradise Lost” by John Milton, Satan is the epic hero. Satan is the leader of the fallen angels and is in control of hell. Satan, In “Paradise Lost” is however, is not the evil Lucifer other writers make him out to be. In this selection he is a distinct individual whose actions are driven out of the pain of being rejected.
