The "Cross of Snow" is one of the many, famous works written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Longfellow was born on February 27, 1807, in Portland, Maine. He wrote many poems, some books, songs and became will known to many worldwide. Some of his works inclide: 'Voice of the Night',(his first book of poems), 'Seaside and the Fireside', 'The Golden Legend', 'Tales of a Wayside Inn', 'The Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri', 'The Masque of Pandora' along with some of his most famous songs:'The song of Hiawatha', 'Evangeline, and 'The Courtship of Miles Standish'.
