Purrsausive Essay

|
In the past two hundred years, over one million Americans have died for their country. Monuments have been built and speeches have been delivered, honoring these American heroes. America is now engaged in a war where there are no heroes or monuments - only victims. Since the war was declared over forty-five million have died. Our society has declared war on its most helpless members: the unborn children. Through abortion, people have ended innocent lives before they, the unborn, had the chance to breathe. Abortion is immoral and can never be justified. Abortion causes permanent psychological problems. In a study of post-abortion patients, eight weeks after the abortion, researchers found the following: forty-four percent complained of a serious nervous disorder, thirty-six percent had experienced a terrible occurrence of sleep disorders, thirty-one percent had regrets of having the abortion, and eleven percent had been prescribed psychotropic medicines, three-fourths of the women who had an abortion still suffered after 5 years.
