My Reason for Attending College
After you finish high school, there is a sense of completion in life. But college is a whole new level of learning. Whether you are attending a community college or a major university, you are expanding your horizons and your education. Some feel as though going to college is necessary, or that if they do not go that they will have a hard time finding a “good” job. And though sometimes people dread even thinking about going to college, I personally feel that by going to college I am tackling my goals and aspirations. But “college” is different for everyone; there are different majors, different professors, and different colleges as a whole. ...
High school was only a small piece of the pie once you finally get into college. College is the “adult” version of high school. And community college may be a little more toned down, and may be a lot of similarities to high school, but it is still hard. I haven’t experienced the University side of college as of yet, but I plan to soon and I can’t wait!
