Romeo and Juliet

It was a summer evening unlike any I'd seen before. The weather was so unbelievably warm; it was, well unbelievable. There was a beautiful Monet exhibition at the Tate so I decided to go along. As I got to the door, I could see it was going to be an absolutely fantastic turnout. Already people were taking snapshots of everything on display and the unveiling of Monet's nineteenth wonder wasn't due to start for another half an hour. I squeezed past a short plump lady carrying a poodle, dreadful things if you ask me, but then again, I suppose you didn't. Anyway, I paid for my ticket and searched for atable small enough to be out of the way, yet still near enough to the painting so I could see the detail. I had just found the perfect seating, when there was an announcement over the speakers. "We are sorry, but due to unknown reasons, the unveiling of Monet's nineteenth piece of art, "Beachwear", has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience and full refunds will be given if an orderly queue is started at the ticket desk." Said the tanoy voice, ringing through my ears like a dozen cows herding towards me, bells raging. Obviously there was then a big crush to get out of the door quickly and to the ticket desk. I however opted out of my full £8 refund and instead wandered casually to the opening at the back of the hall.
