Juliet explains how much she wants to see Romeo again, and if so where he be, she doesn’t care what her father thinks and that Romeo should forget she is a Capulet. Juliet declares her love for Romeo in spite of his belonging to the hated Montagues. When Romeo revels himself she fears for his safety.
Romeo blames himself for Mercutios wound, and resentful of Tybalts insults, fears that his love for Juliet has weakened his courage. ... When Juliet finds out that Romeo has been banished ‘Juliet first rails against Romeo as a’ beautiful tyrant’ and a ‘friend angelical’. She fixes upon the word ‘banished’ and said that she would rather that ten thousand Tybalts had died than her Romeo be banished. Juliet plays along, pretending that she hates the villain Romeo. In this scene there is tragic and dramatic irony when Juliet’s mother tells her she is to marry Paris on Thursday.
