In the "Gospel according to mark", by Luis Borges, Espinosa takes upon himself the divine role of playing christ by attemping to solve th Gutre's trouble, and placing himself as the supreme knowledge; later he recieves the same fate as christ. The gospel which espinosa reads to the gutre's fascinates them with a story which is full of miracles. The gurtes begin to see a similarity btw espinosa and christ. So the gutres accept him as their saviour. like, Jesus, epinosa stood up to read the parables to the people.
