Teenagers are no different

I believe that teenagers are no different than they have been from other generations. The media are always portraying the image that all teenagers are selfish, moody, idealistic, psycotic, irresponsible, stubborn, violent, take drugs and are involved in gangs when this just isn’t the case. Although there are a small percentage are involved in some of these things, it isn’t the majority that are “corrupt”, I would say 85% of teenagers are good, law abiding people.
The very people who are criticizing the teenagers of today, they were also once teenagers and I am sure that they were not “little angels” either. ...
A lot of people blame television and films for how teenagers act. That simply is not the case, of course there are some shows which are bout sex for example “Sex in the city” but that show is not designed for teenagers. ... But a lot of teenagers also watch shows that do not promote violence, sex and drugs for instance a lot of my friends watch The Simpsons, Seinfeld and other shows and they are not about violence etc, they are just simply comedy shows to make you have a laugh and a good time.
