... In the Montague family there was Romeo, and in the Capulet family there was Juliet. ...
At the time, Romeo was in love with Rosaline. One evening, Romeo finds out that Rosaline was going to a party that Old Capulet, Juliet’s father, was going to throw. Disguised, Romeo goes to the party, seeking his love, who didn’t love him back. At the party, Romeo’s heart pondered a different direction. It was not to Rosaline but to the beautiful Juliet. Unfortunately, he finds out that she is the daughter of Old Capulet, making it difficult for him to love her, as Romeo’s family held a grudge against Juliet’s family. Juliet also notices Romeo but unaware that Romeo is a Montague.
Paris, Juliet’s current lover, asks Old Capulet at the party if he can marry Juliet, but he rejects the request, as Juliet was too young.
