IRA-N. Ireland conflict
Just about everything has gone wrong for Northern Ireland in the past few years. From the IRA to the British army. IRA stands for Irish Republican Army. It is the group of Catholics who are in Northern Ireland. These people want Northern Ireland to become part of the Republic of Ireland. But the majority of people in Northern Ireland are Protestant. These people wish to remain part of Britain for fear of becoming the minority of the Catholic dominated Republic of Ireland.
For years, Northern Ireland has been part of Great Britain, or England.
