Dealing with this concept of “Peace” is quite difficult because of the many different ideas revolving around it. ...
Initially, this was not what my paper/discussion was about. And I also realize that this was not exactly what the instruction may have stated, but I was caught between trying to satisfy the requirements and satisfying the logic behind this entire discourse. I believe I was able to satisfy both, just not in the fashion that was instructed by.
My first paper was about Peace in the Post-Cold War era to go along with my oral presentation. I completed that roughly a week ago. I began to get extremely frustrated by what I wrote after I started reading, The Bear and the Dragon, a book by Tom Clancy. As I read this, knowing fully that it was a work of fiction, I got rather pissed about writing about Peace and the Cold War.
We, meaning academics so-called scholars, sometimes forget about the little things that go along with all of the rhetoric that goes with higher education. ...
This is how I felt about my first essay. I feel this paper is far more relevant to my present position in reference to what I perceive to be the true study of Peace and Development, not just the theoretical. ...
