Interview with the German Gentile
Before the interview, here is some background information of my interviewees country. ... The principal language is German, there are many dialects, one of the dialects Mr. Borman speaks is a German-Bavarian dialect and two-thirds of the people are either Roman Catholic or Protestant. ... Borman was so kind to allow me to interview him via telephone. ... In this interview, I learned a great deal of the German culture, celebrations, traditions, religion, and the lifestyle of this particular family. ... Instead of shopping for the week, like most Americans do, the German ladies shop everyday for fresh vegetables, fruit, fish, and other meats. ... " This practically does not exist in German families. ...
Arranged marriages are not common in the German society. ... I really like the Chinese, especially their restaurants and hearing them speak German, it is so entertaining."
It was a pleasure to interview Mr. ... His thoughts and answers enlightened me in the German culture; it motivates me to take a trip out there someday.
